About Me
For as long as I can remember, I have been aware of the power of clothing and appearance. As a young girl, I was fascinated by the way some clothes made me feel confident and others made me want to hide. As a teen, I studied fashion and style voraciously and discovered the power of self-expression through appearance. I am a firm believer in individuality, embracing who you are and living authentically.
I strive to inspire and educate my clients to be the very best they can be. My focus is on raising the level of appearance and presence of people at all levels of life, so they can live life to the fullest, confident in the way they are perceived and free to fulfill their goals and dreams.
I worked with retail giants, such as Neiman Marcus, Gap, and DKNY. At Neiman's, I worked in conjunction with the PR department producing fashion shows and special events, as well as consulting with some of the store's most prestigious individual clients. At management level for Gap, I was part of a team that launched the company’s outlet division; I served as a trainer for the southeast and was well known for empowering, training and developing personnel and creating successful management teams.
I am a proud alumnus of the University of Tennessee, where I earned a B.S. in Fashion Merchandising, as well as having completed many graduate-level courses in Retail and Consumer Sciences. While in college, I served as a costume designer for a local theater company. Since college, I have completed training and earned international image certification with London Image Institute, Fashion Stylist Institute, and ByFerial Image Image & Color Institute, where I also earned certification as a 4x4 Personal Color Analysis Expert and became a Certified Master Image Coach. I am proud to be a member of the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI) and serve on the board of the Southeast Region Chapter of AICI.
Even though my heart is still in Tennessee, I now call Athens, GA home. My husband and I are the proud parents of two college-aged kids and a crazy rescue dog named Knox. In my spare time, I sew, cook, read, and watch any and all historical drama.
